Others have been competing each other to buy and cage the civet cats in 60x70x80 cm steel cages in order to produce ”kopi luwak”. As the impact the local farmers also compete each other to catch (and also shoot) them, although according to the data from long scientific research on coffee, and the comment of those who tasted “such that coffee luwak”, they mentioned that the quality is completely different, even some of them consider as fake kopi luwak
